MeshToFeatures is a workbench that reverse-engineers STL meshes of
prismatic parts into editable PartDesign bodies (surface recognition,
parameter snapping, feature detection, build-history reconstruction).

- Original work, not based on an existing addon
- License: LGPL-2.1-or-later (LICENSE file in repo)
- Valid package.xml manifest; FreeCAD >= 1.0 (freecadmin 1.0)
- Python dependencies: numpy, scipy, trimesh, shapely - all on the
  current Allowed-Packages list; no vendored packages
- UI uses FreeCAD's Qt shim (from PySide import ...), Python 3 only
- No network access, telemetry, or user-data collection
- Latest release: v0.17.0 (tagged); 450+ test pytest suite runs
  without FreeCAD
- Repo topics freecad + addon are set

You've got a "tests" directory at the top-level -- this is going to create conflicts with the global namespace. It's important that all of the work of your addon be encapsulated in the namespaced subdirectory to prevent this pollution. In general your addon should have literally nothing at the top-level except the metadata files -- all code should be nested in the freecad/meshtofeatures_wb subdirectory (it's fine to have "docs" as long as there's no code in there, but even it would be best in the subdirectory).

Restructured as requested in v0.17.1 (tagged): nothing at the top level except metadata files, the geometry core is now freecad/meshtofeatures_wb/core/, and tests/, scripts/, and docs/ moved under the namespaced subdirectory as well. Thanks for the package.xml fixes, merged.
